DUBOIS, Wyo. — Brooks Lake Lodge & Spa is currently on the search for three key members of their summer culinary team. The lodge is looking to hire a new head chef, sous chef and line cook to join the staff at the renowned all-inclusive guest ranch from June 15 – Sept. 15, 2021. The historic lodge is located deep in the Shoshone National Forest surrounded by scenic mountains, lakes and streams, just 60 miles from Jackson Hole and 25 miles from Dubois, Wyoming.
Brooks Lake Lodge & Spa provides housing for all staff, with employees living at one of the two on-site dormitories and considered members of the Brooks Lake Lodge family. All meals during the season are also provided to the staff with dietary concerns addressed as needed.
Dining at Brooks Lake Lodge has always been a wonderful experience for guests, making the culinary team an especially important part of the lodge’s close-knit team. The lodge currently has the following opportunities available in their acclaimed kitchen: Head Chef, Sous Chef and Line Cook.
- Head Chef applicants should have six years of cooking experience and be familiar with fine dining. The Head Chef position offers $4,000 per month.
- Sous Chef applicants must have previous experience in the kitchen, possessing talent and enthusiasm for the culinary industry. All Brooks Lake Lodge team members are expected to roll with punches and take initiative. The salary for the Sous Chef position is $3,000 per month.
- The Line Cook is responsible for prepping mealtimes, cooking on-demand orders from guests, washing dishes in between services, and any other duties assigned by a manager. The Line Cook position offers $2,500 per month.
Along with the included housing and access to the extraordinary nature-filled surroundings and activities, the culinary team can expect a generous end-of-season bonus upon completion of a contract.
