JACKSON, Wyo. — An arduous road trip for the Jackson Hole Broncs basketball teams ended with four more losses share between the girls and boys squads.

Both the girls and boys showed some resilience as they played back-to-back games in Riverton and Cody. Less than 24 hours after losing to the Wolverines, the Broncs came out looking better than the previous night.

The girls battled back from a horrendous start in Riverton to get back in the game before finally losing 42-34. The following afternoon in Cody, the Lady Broncs looked much better. Jackson matched the ‘other’ Broncs basket for basket all the way until the end.

Final: Cody 42, Jackson 38. The Jackson girls fall to 2-13 on the season with the two losses over the weekend.

Boys

The Jackson Broncs played were handed one of their worst losses of the season in Riverton, losing to the Wolverines 61-23. The Wolverines had not won since January 10 but snapped a 6-game losing streak against the Broncs.

Jackson traveled to Cody the following afternoon where they could have easily packed it in, but they didn’t. The Broncs fought harder than the 68-39 final would indicate in their loss to Cody.

Jackson is now winless in 15 tries.
