JACKSON, Wyo. — Bridger-Teton National Forest has decided to close the majority of its public toilet facilities indefinitely for the health and safety of visitors and staff. These actions will be implemented over the coming week and will be in effect until further notice.
The actions have been taken based on the best available medical advice for cleaning per CDC guidelines and to promote social distancing.
Additionally, all rental cabins on the Bridger-Teton National Forests have been closed indefinitely for the health and safety of visitors and staff.
Effective immediately the following rental cabins will be closed and unavailable to rent via Recreation.gov until further notice:
Greys River Ranger District, Lincoln County, Wyoming:
- Cazier Guard Station
- Deer Creek Guard Station
- McCain Guard Station
- Meadows Guard Station
Kemmerer Ranger District, Lincoln County, Wyoming:
- Kelley Guard Station
- LaBarge Guard Station
- Scaler Guard Station
Big Piney Ranger District, Sublette County, Wyoming:
- Hoback Guard station
- Snyder Guard Station
Pinedale Ranger District, Sublette County, Wyoming:
- Green River Lake Lodge
