JACKSON, Wyo. — Expect delays this week on the drive to the Cache Creek trailhead.

Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF) said in a press release that crews will be moving heavy equipment along the dirt portion of Cache Creek Drive for road maintenance. The work is taking place between May 25 and 28.

A BTNF representative told Buckrail that this is “routine, annual road maintenance.” No road or parking lot closures are planned, according to BTNF, but travelers should expect intermittent delays throughout the work period.

“Drivers, cyclists and trail users are urged to use caution around heavy equipment,” BTNF wrote in the statement. “Sight distances will be limited at times, and dust may reduce visibility.”
