Bridge work will affect access to South Park habitat area.

JACKSON, WY — Wyoming Game & Fish needs to replace a failing bridge at the South Park Wildlife Habitat Management Area (WHMA) south of town and while they do, vehicle access to the area will be affected.

From September 3-30, vehicle access will end at the public restroom parking area. A temporary footbridge will be placed to allow public access across Flat Creek, but no cars. Hunters, anglers, hikers, and wildlife viewers will need to plan accordingly.

Game & Fish asks that visitors avoid the construction area and not block any gates. Visit the Game & Fish website or call 307-733-2321 for more information.
