UPDATE: 2:27 p.m. — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort announced this afternoon that the victim was a contract roofer who fell from the roof of the Cody House building in Teton Village.
The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m.
Teton Village Fire Department and Jackson Hole Fire/EMS responded immediately, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The worker was not an employee of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and was contracted by an outside construction company for work on the Cody House Condominiums.
TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — A fatality occurred this morning in Teton Village, confirmed Teton County Sheriff Matt Carr.
Carr added that his team is currently investigating the incident, which occurred at a construction site by Cody House at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
