JACKSON HOLE, WYO –
UPDATE (6:05pm): Subject was found not be barricaded in a room at Flat Creek Inn. Area has been cleared.
Police have closed off the area around Flat Creek Inn as they move in tactical teams to deal with some sort of armed confrontation. The public is asked to avoid the area until it is cleared.
Jackson Police Department spokesperson Lt. Roger Schultz said the call resounded to was for a despondent suicidal person. It is not currently known if the suspect is actually in the motel. Police are pinging the person’s cell phone to see if that is the case.
