Black Tie Ski Rentals Looks to Expand into Jackson Hole

JACKSON, WY — Like many great ideas, Black Tie started small.

Longtime friends Ian Prichard and Joe Sternberg decided there had to be an easier way to rent skis while on vacation. What if the skis were delivered directly to customers, at a convenient time, with the option to purchase socks, goggles and other accessories? Faster than dropping into Corbet’s, Black Tie Ski Rentals was born.

Seventeen years ago, Black Tie Ski Rentals started out of a one-car garage by Prichard and Sternberg, two guys who loved to ski and could set their own schedules. The company now has 15 individually-operated locations across 35 major ski resorts.

Black Tie is looking for a self-motivated individual to open the newest location in Jackson Hole. Join the hard-working, fun Black Tie ski family – and live the Jackson Hole dream here in paradise.

From Ian, co-founder and president of Black Tie Ski Rentals:

Black Tie is a small, owner-driven company, where we inspire each other through our shared passion for snow sports. We are not a franchise. Each owner is an individually licensed operator who has creative freedom with company support. Owners have the independence to run their own branch, with the power of an internationally-recognized brand.

Owning Black Tie – Jackson will allow you to set your own hours, hire a great staff and continue sharing your love of skiing & riding with others.
