JACKSON, Wyo. — Want to learn a thing or two about birds and nature?

The Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation will be hosting renowned birder and author Christian Cooper for a keynote address on Tuesday, August 12. According to the press release, the event is a “rare opportunity to hear from a passionate and respected voice for nature and conservation.”

The event will take place at the Center for the Arts Theater and is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the event will begin at 7:30 p.m. While the event is free, seats are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cooper’s 2023 memoir, “Better Living Through Birding: Notes from a Black Man in the Natural World,” brings readers into his world of avian adventures and global travels. His presentation, sponsored by the Jackson Hole Bird and Nature Club, promises to be engaging and insightful, braiding his life experiences with his love for the natural world.
