TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — There’s a new farmers market in the valley tonight!
Every Thursday in August, head to Teton Village for Jackson Hole Farmers Market’s newest offering on the West Bank. The open- air markets will have over 20 vendors and will take place on Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. on the Village Commons.
According to social media posts by Jackson Hole Farmers Market and Teton Village Association, musicians from the Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) will play tunes while shoppers peruse the booths of fresh produce, baked goods and handmade wares. This week’s GTMF Alive@5 concert will begin at 5 p.m. and features a trio of string-playing sisters, a trumpet and cello. Different performances by GTMF musicians will take place on Aug. 14 and 21.
The market will host seasoned favorites as well as newcomers to the scene. More than 20 vendors are expected to be at the market, including Lark’s Meadow Farms, Haderlie Farms, Circle H Ranch, Little Jennie Ranch, Bake Me Vegan, Scott’s Bees and Jackpine Lavender.
Don’t forget to bring reusable bags for the occasion.
