HOBACK, Wyo. — In a celebration of community and the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Astoria Park Conservancy and several local partners invite the community to a day of free family-friendly wellness activities on the lawn at Astoria.
The Second Annual Astoria May Hooray will feature music, face painting, food trucks, drinks and complimentary hot springs tickets.
Participants can treat themselves to free wellness sessions offered by Medicine Wheel Wellness in the cabin throughout the event. Sessions include Medicine Wheel’s Far-infrared heated Biomat, BEMER Circulation Therapy and Dynamic Compression “puffy pants.”
Additional family-friendly activities will be available from the following local organizations: Teton Raptor Center, Teton County Weed and Pest, Coombs Outdoors, Jackson Hole Historical Society & Museum, Voices Jackson Hole and the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum. The event will be held on May 7 from 2 to 6 p.m. on the Astoria Lawn.
Reservations are required to soak in the hot springs. Reserve a free one-hour hot spring session by visiting www.astoriapark.org. Reservations are not required for event activities on the lawn.
