Astoria Hot Springs closed beginning Saturday

JACKSON, Wyo. — According to a recent press release from Astoria Park Conservancy, Astoria Hot Springs will be closed for the time being due to the increase in local COVID-19 cases and community spread.

This announcement from Astoria Park Conservancy comes after Teton County recently hit its highest daily case count of COVID-19. The facility’s reopening date will be based on improved public health metrics, says Astoria Park Conservancy, as well as confidence in the ability to keep staff and visitors safe.

“Given the recent dramatically increased number of cases and hospitalizations and the growing stress on our local, state and regional healthcare systems, we concluded that suspending our operations during this time is in the best interest of the community and particularly our very brave healthcare providers,” says Bill Schwartz, Board Chair.

Current reservations for visiting Astoria will be refunded. Hot springs staff is working diligently to contact those with active reservations and refund them. For questions about your refunds, please call 307-201-5925 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. or email [email protected].
