JACKSON, Wyo. — On Saturday, September 13, Jackson Hole’s historic Town Square transforms into a dynamic open-air studio during the 30th Annual Jackson Hole Quickdraw & Auction, the crown jewel of the Fall Arts Festival, presented this year by Jackson Hole Jewelry Co. Organized by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, this beloved celebration of art and community invites locals and visitors alike to experience fine art in the making, live and in real time.

Beginning at 8 a.m., 30 acclaimed artists will take their places around Town Square, each with just 90 minutes to create original works inspired by the surrounding scenery and the spirit of the West. Spectators can roam among the easels, watching landscapes, wildlife, and abstract visions come to life under the crisp September sky. It’s creativity on a deadline, and it’s completely free to attend.

For those seeking a front-row seat to the action (with a mimosa in hand), a limited number of reserved seats are available inside the Quickdraw Auction Tent. For $40, guests enjoy early morning refreshments, including coffee, pastries, and bubbly, alongside a bidder paddle to participate in the exciting live auction. This premium experience sold out last year and is expected to do so again. Tickets are available now at FallArtsFestival.com.

At 9:30 a.m., brushes are down and bidding begins. Starting at 10:30 a.m., the freshly painted Quickdraw pieces will be auctioned off, culminating with a chance to own the Featured Fall Arts Festival Artwork, a 60” x 50” oil on canvas by featured artist Colt Idol, aptly titled Grand Finale. It’s a chance to take home a piece of Jackson Hole’s artistic heartbeat.

As the sun sets on an unforgettable day, the celebration continues at the Grandeur Gala, held from 6–9 p.m. at the Virginian Lodge. Artists, collectors, gallerists, and art lovers will gather one last time to toast to ten days of artistic immersion. With delicious fare, a festive ambiance, and a warm community spirit, the Gala is the perfect closing note to the Fall Arts Festival symphony. Tickets are $75 and available at FallArtsFestival.com.

Organized by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and presented by Jackson Hole Jewelry Co., these events are more than entertainment, they’re a testament to Jackson Hole’s vibrant arts community and the local businesses that help it thrive.
