The Jubilee debuted in 2013. This event was created in large part to facilitate community members coming together to enjoy some fun activities to distract from long winters. This is also an opportunity to provide scholarships to local youths. Sponsors help fund this event and all proceeds from Casino Night go toward scholarships.

This year, a movie night has been added to the schedule to replace the fireworks show.  Popcorn will be provided by the Top of the Rockies Snowmobile Club; the movie will be presented by Alpine Christian fellowship. All attendees are encouraged to bring a comfy chair/blanket to settle in to watch a family-friendly movie. Padded chairs are also available on site, but bringing comfortable options is encouraged.

A new addition this year is the Wind River Youth Snow Cross, which is hosted and sponsored by the Pinedale Snow Explorers/Altitude Off Road. This is a new program for all involved, expected to be a huge success.

This year’s Casino Night should be one for the books. Food and drinks are available for purchase. At the end of gaming, casino chips can be cashed in for raffle prize tickets.  The better you are at gaming the more chances you get to go home with a raffle prize. A Casino bag costs $40.00, and includes one $25.00 chip and 25 $1.00 chips, one grand prize raffle ticket and 25 general raffle tickets. Amazing raffle prizes are donated by local businesses.  There will also be three grand prizes plus silent auction items.

The process of revamping the snow box has begun in hopes of increasing business participation and integrating the local art community in Star Valley.
