JACKSON, Wyo. — Looks like the chaos in the Albertsons parking lot is coming to an end, as construction in the front lot is expected to be completed tomorrow. Project completion includes the removal of cottonwood trees, repaving and improved water drainage.

Contractors are expected to return in June to complete work, although this work will all be in the back of the store and is expected to only take a couple of days.

“This project is part of planned site improvements focusing on enhancing safety, traffic flow and the overall customer experience,” Albertsons Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the Mountain West Division Heather Halpape told Buckrail. “Customers will notice a more accessible and easier-to-navigate parking area along with updated landscaping.”

Halpape also emphasized her appreciation for the community’s patience during construction.
