JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Airport will host a TSA PreCheck enrollment event from Monday, Feb. 12, through Friday, Feb. 16, 2024.
A similar event was held at the airport earlier this year. The enrollment event could save travelers a trip to the nearest permanent enrollment center, which is in Idaho Falls.
“Based on the strong response to last summer’s sign-up, we have been working to coordinate another sign-up opportunity for Jackson Hole residents,” Airport Board President Ed Liebzeit said in a statement. “The Board is glad to be able to offer the local sign-up week again this winter. Having TSA PreCheck helps make the security screening process easier, especially at larger airports across the U.S.”
U.S. citizens, nationals and lawful permanent residents are eligible for PreCheck. Those who are interested in enrolling can make an appointment (the portal for which will become available closer to the event) or visit the airport between 9 a.m. and noon or between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. from Feb. 12 through Feb. 16.
Attendees are encouraged to fill out an application online beforehand; walk-ins should expect wait times. Applicants will need to provide proof of identity, proof of citizenship, fingerprints and a photo. If approved, applicants can enroll in PreCheck for $78 for five years of membership. Global Entry program enrollment will not be part of this event.
