JACKSON HOLE, WYO – US 191 was a trouble-plagued highway last week. First it was a report the road surface was buckling at milepost 133.8 north of the Rim. That was April 4.
Then a violent head-on collision on April 6 at milepost 126 between Daniel Junction and Bondurant closed the highway all morning as two drivers were lifeflighted from the scene.
On April 7, a semi tractor-trailer fell over blocking both lanes of Highway 191 at milepost 115 near 40 Rod Road. It was the latest in a series of unfortunate events on US 191 last week.
