A message from mayoral candidate Michael Kudar:

JACKSON, Wyo. —

My fellow residents of Jackson,

During the months I spent on the campaign trail, you shared so many reasons why you are proud to call Jackson – our town – your home. I found myself continually inspired by your appreciation for Jackson, our neighbors, and all it has to offer. But I also heard so many ways that we can continue to make Jackson stronger.

I will take the feedback you have given to me before and after the election to turn your vision into a reality during the next four years. These priorities will lead our decision-making processes:

  • Bring Common Sense and Balance to Governing Jackson Hole
  • Promote a Healthy Community:  Economically healthy with tourism and strong small businesses, physically healthy with a strong hospital and sound policies, environmentally healthy with support for our rivers and beautiful open spaces.
  • Strong Support for Public Safety – Police, Fire, EMS and Search & Rescue
  • Deliver More Affordable Rental Housing & Home Ownership in Partnership with the Private Sector
  • Provide New Leadership to Solve Problems: We need to bring people together.
  • Smarter Forward Planning for a Strong Economic Future
  • Inclusiveness in Government
  • Transparency in Government

Our stewardship agenda won’t be easy and I am excited to bring my leadership experience to get to work with your vote on November 3. I look forward to working collaboratively with you, our colleagues across Teton County, the region and the state to make it happen. Together, we will move Jackson toward a strong, resilient future for all of its residents and its environment.

Be well, stay safe.

Michael Kudar
