SWEETWATER COUNTY, WYO – A Rock Springs man is in custody after he allegedly sprayed a nightclub with a hail of bullets early Sunday morning.

Police say Joaquin Leon-Guzman, 33, was kicked out of the Bareback Saloon. Leon-Guzman then returned at around 1:30am on Sunday morning, drove by the front entrance and fired several rounds from a firearm towards a group of people.

An unidentified 33-year-old man was shot in the leg and suffered nonlife-threatening injuries. He was treated and released at Memorial Hospital.

PIO Jennifer Maze of the Rock Springs Police Department says Leon-Guzman has been charged with three counts of reckless endangerment in use of a firearm, and one count of aggravated assault and battery with cause or attempts to cause serious bodily injury. Investigation revealed a .22 caliber rifle was used in the shooting.
