JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Bird was named Wyoming’s best burger joint by OnlyInYourState.com recently.
Travel writer Lisa Jensen penned the story that dubs The Bird’s burger at state best.
“[C]reating superior hamburgers has become somewhat of an art form, at least here in Wyoming. With all the great burger joints in the Cowboy State, you pretty much can’t go wrong,” Jensen wrote. “If you’re on a quest to find the ultimate hamburger, head for Jackson Hole. There, at the edge of town, you’ll find a comfortable little laid-back bar and grill that is said to have the best burgers in the state.”

Jensen took note of The Bird’s “sauce.” No, not their hot sauce, their saucy sauce. Like the menu mention of meat preparation that includes definitions for popular acronyms: R-rare, MR-medium rare, WD-wrong decision.
The popular eatery down south also regularly invites patrons to “move along” if they are going to be a problem customer.
Buckrail has been to The Bird and can confirm their burgers are probably the best in the valley. If they aren’t, we’d like to taste the hamburger that can beat them. No, really, we WOULD seriously be open to an invitation to try the burger that’s better. Message us.
