CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Kristi Racines of Casper will announce her re-election bid for Wyoming State Auditor in Riverton this Saturday at the Fremont County Republican Party Convention according to an announcement. Racines is a Certified Public Accountant with 20 years of experience and has served for one term as State Auditor.
Her first term was dedicated to transparency, especially in regards to state expenditure data and started Wyopen.gov, a website where anyone can search transactions made by the state of Wyoming with public funds.
According to a press release, Racines also has noted that she plans to focus on “investment in infrastructure in Wyoming’s cities and towns, particularly in our smallest communities.”
“This is a critical investment in our children, our grandchildren, and our future,” Racines said in a press release. “I’m asking voters to let me do my part to keep moving Wyoming forward, I believe in conservative, cost-effective government that does what it should and gets out of the way. I will continue to uphold the sound and clear fiscally conservative values of Wyoming’s taxpayers.”
