JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Teton County Library “Writing the West” series continues tonight with Gary Ferguson at the Ordway Auditorium.

Ferguson believes we are living in the age of wildfire – an era that’s rapidly changing the face of the landscape, and at the same time dramatically altering how we live in the American West. The nature writer will present an engaging multi-media program exploring matters of climate change, ecology, and the growing challenge of living well with our remaining precious wild lands.

Ferguson is the author of more than 20 books, including Hawk’s Rest, Carry Home, and The Yellowstone Wolves.Ferguson’s new best-seller, Land On Fire: The New Reality of Wildfire in the West, will be available for purchase and signing. “Writing the West” continues next week with author Joe Kelsey.
