JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Several wildfires burning in Idaho and Montana are sending smoke our way. The smoke can be seen daily, drifting in from the northwest and getting trapped in the valley by nighty inversion.

A cold front moving in early next week should scour out the haze for a while but the extended outlook is for continued smoky days for a while.
Smoke from wildfires carries particulate matter that could give respiratory problems to elderly and those compromised with asthma and other breathing difficulty conditions. Limit exercise and remain indoors when smoke is at it’s worst.
