Thursday will feature similar conditions to what we’ve seen over the past couple of days. Highs will reach the mid to upper 30s in the valley with a mix of sun and clouds as a storm system passes south of the area. Lows tonight will fall into the teens in the valley. More of the same can be expected on Friday with highs in the upper 30s along with a mix of sun and clouds.
Attention then turns to the weekend, as we have a storm on the way that looks to be a heavy snow producer for the Tetons. Snow will arrive Saturday afternoon and continue through Sunday night with total amounts ranging from 8-15″ in the Tetons. Sunday will be a good powder day on the slopes.
Mild temperatures in the valley will limit accumulations at the start for the town of Jackson with highs Saturday in the mid/upper 30s. The best window of accumulation in the valley will be Saturday night and Sunday morning with total amounts in the 2-5″ range. The early part of next week will be colder and drier in the wake of this storm.
