Mount Scenery - Shrubland

We’re enjoying a nice start to Friday morning after last night’s thunderstorms with sunny skies early on. Highs will reach the low 80s, but lingering moisture will result in scattered thunderstorms during the early to mid-afternoon hours with decreasing chances by this evening.

Conditions will start out nice on Saturday as well but there will be enough lingering moisture for a chance of afternoon thunderstorms once again, though coverage should be more isolated. Drier air will then work its way in from the west on Sunday, which will end the threat for thunderstorms for a day while temperatures also warm up a few degrees.

The next surge of subtropical moisture will arrive early next week, leading to increasing thunderstorm chances starting on Monday and continuing into Tuesday, the latter of which looks like the most active day for thunderstorms over the next week.
