WYOMING — On Wednesday, March 26, President Donald Trump endorsed Cynthia Lummis for reelection to the U.S. Senate via X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
“Senator Cynthia Lummis is an America First Warrior for the Wonderful People of Wyoming!” President Trump writes.
According to President Trump, Senator Lummis has been working closely with him as Chair of the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Digital Assets to make the U.S. what President Trump calls “the Crypto Capital of the World.” President Trump writes that Senator Lummis “is fighting tirelessly to grow the economy, cut taxes and regulations, secure our border, defend our always under siege Second Amendment, strengthen our incredible military/vets and put our great farmers, ranchers and energy producers first.”
Senator Lummis is currently finishing out her first term as a Wyoming Senator; she was elected to the Senate in 2020 and, prior to that, served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 to 2017. She was also Wyoming’s treasurer from 1999 to 2007.
The 2026 United States Senate elections are scheduled to be held on Nov. 3.
