JACKSON, Wyo. — Following a nationwide search, the Town of Jackson (TOJ) has appointed a new Deputy Town Manager.
David Garcia will serve in the newly created role alongside Town Manager Tyler Sinclair. Garcia brings experience handling statewide transportation and safety programs from his 30-year-plus career in the public sector, most recently having served as a Division Administrator with the U.S. Department of Transportation, per TOJ’s Wednesday announcement.
“I’m grateful to become a part of this amazing team,” Garcia said in TOJ’s announcement. “I see this not just as a job, but as a chance to contribute my leadership to a community that values both its unique heritage and its future progress. I’m eager to bring my commitment to transparent, purpose-driven leadership to Jackson to help ensure the town remains a vibrant and resilient place to live, work, and visit for years to come.”
He holds an MBA and is currently completing a Doctor of Education degree in leadership and innovation. He served in the U.S. Army as a commander and aviator.
“David Garcia brings a wealth of experience, strategic insight, and a strong commitment to public service,” Sinclair said in the announcement. “His leadership style and values align closely with the needs of our organization and community, and we are excited to welcome him to the Town’s team.”
