“We {Highland Music} have thrown some pretty spectacular events for the community over the last year. During the pandemic, we had Duane Betts at the spaced-out sessions @ The Spud, and this spring we hosted 1500 people at the Bar J as a benefit for the Teton Music School. It’s important for us to develop extremely entertaining community-oriented events such as these; it’s a joy to provide an outlet for music to help our friends and neighbors reconnect.”

The event is BYOB – there will be no food or beverages served at the event. Festival-goers are encouraged to bring their own picnic gear and water.

About the Artists:
The Deadlocks
Based in Jackson Hole, The Deadlocks bring an authentic Grateful Dead experience to the Intermountain West. Following in the tradition set forth by the Dead in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond, the band levies harmonic guitars, defined musical composition, a double drumset, and a vibrant mix of song performance and psychedelic improvisation. Each Deadlocks show is a unique experience; pulling from a repertoire of nearly 100 songs and growing, a Deadlocks production is exciting, immersing, unpredictable, and dynamic. All aspects of the performance- from the instrumentation to the stage layout- are carefully produced to ensure an authentic representation.

Sneaky Pete And The Secret Weapons
Sneaky Pete and the Secret Weapons is a collective of musicians channeling original music through a lens of hazy funk and unending groove, all witnessed and interpreted from the peaks and valleys of the Rocky Mountains. Their genre-blending sound of funk, rock, jazz, and hip-hop moves from the streets of New Orleans to smoky jazz dives, intergalactic spaceships, and late-night laser-filled clubs.

Something Else
A local music collective with resident DJs spinning underground tracks across a spectrum of genres: house, disco, drum and bass, hip-hop, reggaeton, among others.
