JACKSON, Wyo. — Center for the Arts will host two free community events this week, including entertainment for families and a public lands panel.

On Thursday, the “Roadless Rambles” event hosted by the Wyoming Outdoor Council and Wyoming Wilderness Association will take over the lobby at 6 p.m. Expect storytelling and a panel discussion “celebrating Wyoming’s intact Roadless Areas that make up some of our most remote and precious forests in the state, and the rule that protects them,” per the event announcement. There will be light refreshments and music from folk musicians Jack & Kia.

Then, on Saturday, Off Square Theatre Co. will host the Missoula Children’s Theatre for two performances of “The Secret Garden,” an original musical production featuring over 50 local students. Shows begin at 2 and 4:30 p.m. No tickets are required, and the runtime is less than 60 minutes.

Off Square partners with the Missoula Children’s Theatre annually; students can immerse themselves in theater and music for a week, at no cost to participants. Some of the funding comes from Teton County and the Town of Jackson through Arts for All funding, facilitated by Jackson Hole Public Art, according to the event announcement.
