JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Treasurer’s Office is reminding residents that the County’s sales tax rate will increase to 7% on April 1.
According to Teton County, the rate increase is due to the November 2024 election where the Justice Center SPET ballot item passed. The combined sales/use and lodging tax will be 12%.
Per the Wyoming Department of Revenue (DOR), businesses were notified via the Taxing Issues publication that was sent to businesses that filed paper tax returns. Wyoming Internet Filing System filers were given a link to the Taxing Issues publication on the DOR website.
For more information, businesses and consumers can call the DOR at 307-777-5200.
