PINEDALE, Wyo. — A piece of construction equipment was stolen from a worksite outside of Pinedale and authorities are seeking the public’s assistance.
According to Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the mini excavator is believed to have been taken between 6 a.m. and noon on Nov. 16. The theft occurred at a job site near milepost 124 on US189, south of Daniel. The excavator had been staged there for ongoing construction operations, per a SCSO news release.
Anyone who observed suspicious activity in the area or has information that could assist in the investigation is encouraged to contact Deputy Overbaugh via email or call Sublette County Dispatch at (307) 367-4378.
“The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the community’s assistance in helping recover the stolen equipment,” reads the statement.
