JACKSON, Wyo. — Start Thanksgiving Day with the Turkey Trot!

The annual Jackson Hole Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run kicks off at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. Winter is looking like she might show up just in time to trot so dress warm and be ready for some snow and ice underfoot. Runners and walkers of all ages (including those in strollers) and dogs on leashes are welcome.

The race starts at the Stilson Parking Lot and follows the pathway system on the north side of Stilson, moves south through the new tunnel under WY22, turns north toward the Wilson School, and closes out the loop heading east back to Stilson.

Prizes will be awarded for top finishers and best dressed so put on your fast shoes and/or your best festive fashion. After the race, grab a warm beverage in a commemorative Turkey Trot mug.

Register for free online. Donations are accepted to support the race. Dress to impress and consider extra traction in case the course is slippery. The event is untimed (though we will have a race clock for those looking to self-time).

Special thanks to the event sponsors: the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board, Bank of Jackson Hole, and the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.
