JACKSON, Wyo. — Two Democrat Wyoming state representatives are continuing their series of “listening sessions” with an event in Jackson this evening.

The discussion, featuring Mike Yin (Teton County) and Karlee Provenza (Albany County), will take place on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Teton County Library. The event is an opportunity for constituents to tell their representatives about issues they find important.

The Teton County Democrats are hosting the event, though the description states that all are welcome and that it is not a partisan event.

“What are your priorities — what do you want them to work on this legislative session, and farther in the future?” reads the event description on Facebook.

Yin and Provenza began their journey across the state in August 2025. Yin previously told Buckrail: “Politicians talk about issues that they think are important.” He bills these sessions as a chance for residents to feel heard by their elected legislators.

According to Yin, the information gathered during the sessions will be used to help determine trends across the state. At the end of each listening session, there will be a question and answer period.
