JACKSON, Wyo. — The antler arches are now fully aglow and the Town Square’s trees are wrapped with strands of white lights.
Jackson Hole kicked off the beginning of the holiday season with the lighting of Town Square on Nov. 29.

On the corner of one arch, mourners of Grizzly 399 have created an unofficial tribute to the bear. Grizzly 399’s altar now reflects the spirit of the holidays with wreaths, teddy bears and candles. For all those wanting to pay their respects to the iconic mother bear, the alter is situated underneath the southwest antler arch.

Children will soon be able to share their holiday wish list with Santa Claus when he descends upon Town Square nightly from December 14 to 24. Children can meet Santa and pose for photos at the Stage Stop from 5 to 7 p.m. daily.
