JACKSON, Wyo. — The World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb ran from Thursday, March 20, to Sunday, March 23, in another epic showdown of what Snow King calls “one of the most spectacular motor racing events in the world.”

Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer was mountainside to capture the snowmobilers as they competed to summit the mountain.

According to Snow King, the first two days of the event are qualifying runs for the next two days, where racers get the opportunity to attempt climbing to the summit.

Snow King Mountain cohosts the Hill Climb with the Jackson Hole Snow Devils nonprofit, which uses funds raised by the event to award scholarships and put on educational events including avalanche training.
