JACKSON, Wyo. — As the weather has remained warm, elk have found no shortage of food in the valley. Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer snapped some photos of a couple of particularly healthy-looking bull elk presiding over the valley.

Two elk stood, majestic on a hilltop, and gazed down on the valley.

Sulzer also snapped some photos of the Elk Refuge herd at sunset last week.
According to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, 6,626 elk were observed in the southern half of the National Elk Refuge as of Feb. 5.
