JACKSON, Wyo. — Last Thursday, Jan. 15, bestselling author Brianna Wiest spoke at a sold-out event to present her new book “Great Callings.” Her works have sold over two million copies.

Attendees milled around Poppy, which is a women-centered coworking space in downtown Jackson, and enjoyed mocktails and caught up prior to the conversation-style event.

“When we were approached to host Brianna Wiest for her new book ‘Great Callings,’ it was a full body yes for Poppy,” Director of Culture and Community at Poppy Jacqueline Beley told Buckrail. “Her books are scattered throughout our space: in our member library, our nursing room, the front lounge area.”

Wiest explores themes of community and flourishing in both professional and personal callings. “[That] made her a natural and deeply aligned guest for us to host,” Beley went on to tell Buckrail.

Beley expressed an excitement for having nationally known authors in Jackson, and hopes to see more “voices of her impact and caliber” make an appearance in the future.
