JACKSON, Wyo. — Even during the off-season, the town square is rarely empty. With Grand Teton National Park normally opening May 1, and Yellowstone shortly after, things were a bit different this year. Streets slowly filled with cars, but nothing compared to normal times.

Buckrail’s photographer has collected a sequence of photos of an empty downtown Jackson during the stay-at-home order for Teton County. The health order required residents to hunker down, regardless of age, with exceptions for essential activities and essential employees.

Residents did their part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 to keep our community safe.
