JACKSON, Wyo. — The sky has delivered in a big way!
A powerful geomagnetic storm is lighting up skies over northwestern Wyoming on Tuesday evening. According to NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center, G4 (severe) storm levels were reached at 8:20 p.m. EST (6:20 p.m. MST).
“Geomagnetic storm conditions are anticipated to continue into the night,” the agency’s website states. “Stay informed at spaceweather.gov for the latest.”
