JACKSON, Wyo. — Folks, let’s be frank. It’s been a strange winter.
The winter recreation opportunities that historically have drawn hordes of visitors to the valley simply were not the same this year, due to scant precipitation and unseasonable warmth. In addition to the general bummer that comes with fewer powder days for skiers, there were some very real financial ramifications to the lack of valley snow.
We want to hear from the community: How did this winter affect you? We’re curious about the material differences (fewer days of work for plow operators, etc.) as well as the intangible feelings this unusual season brought with it. Sound off below for the chance to be featured in a future article.
