VICTOR, Idaho — Heads up, Teton Pass commuters. There might be some visible smoke along the drive this week.

Caribou-Targhee National Forest (CTNF) announced Tuesday that firefighters will be burning piles in the Mike Harris Campground area, approximately 3 miles south of Victor.

The U.S. Forest Service has previously advised that drivers should slow down and turn on headlights when smoke is present on roads. CTNF noted that there is no need to report the smoke from these pile burns.
