JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson’s (TOJ) Engineering Department announced that the installation of a stormwater pipe will close a section of E. Pearl Ave. from Wednesday, April 23, through Friday, May 16.

The TOJ and private development project will require the installation of piping and structures to accommodate stormwater infrastructure, according to the TOJ.

E. Pearl Avenue will be closed to traffic between S. Glenwood St. and S. Cache St. for approximately three weeks. The sidewalks will be open for pedestrian traffic.

Construction crews will also need to close the intersection of S. Glenwood St. and E. Pearl Ave. for approximately one day to complete the project. The intersection will also have temporary pavement surfacing prior to the road opening.

Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are advised to seek alternate routes in the vicinity of this construction activity.

“Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification, detour and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers,” the TOJ said via press release.

The TOJ thanks community members for their understanding and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience.
