JACKSON, Wyo. — Patagonia’s Human Powered Snow Tour is stopping in Jackson Hole this weekend for what is touted as a “grassroots gathering of the snow-sliding community.”

Along with skiing, hangouts and happy hours, Patagonia’s Worn Wear team will offer free gear repairs all weekend. On Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21, the Worn Wear trailer will be at the Mangy Moose from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. accepting gear and clothing of any brand that needs fixing. A representative from Worn Wear told Buckrail that all repairs are free, and that most items will be repaired and shipped back to the owner, instead of being fixed onsite.

On Sunday, March 22, Worn Wear will partner with Spaghetti Westernish to put on a pop-up market event in the lobby of the Virginian Lodge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local repair company Rip & Stitch plans to host 30-minute sewing machine workshops throughout the day. Discussions about upcycling will be led by Cowgirl Mermaid, and Worn Wear will be accepting more gear repair projects as well.
