JACKSON, Wyo. — The annual One22 Resource Center Holiday Gift Drive returns this year to provide gifts to families to share throughout the community. Donations are being accepted until Dec. 5 at 5 p.m.

The gift drive provides an opportunity for families facing financial hardship to choose gifts at a community based, in-person Holiday Shop on Dec. 12 and 13. These families are currently accessing one or more of One22’s services or are referred to the drive by other nonprofits.

Nearly 300 pre-registered participants will benefit from the drive, according to One22.

“For the first time in their lives, thanks to One22, my family saw a Christmas tree filled with gifts underneath,” one past participant shared via the nonprofit’s event announcement. “Watching their smiles and laughter on Christmas morning meant the world to me.”

Those looking to participate in the gift drive can either purchase online from the Target registry and use the pre-set shipping address at checkout, or they can browse the local Wish List. Gifts purchased locally from the wish list can be dropped off at One22’s office at 180 S. Willow St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Note that only new, unused items will be accepted.

Volunteer shifts are available in the Holiday Shop on Friday, Dec. 12 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday Dec. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Interested community members can reach out to Libby Gardner at libby@one22jh.org or call (307) 739-4500.
