TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Olympic gold medalist Breezy Johnson is adding yet more hardware to her collection.
To commemorate her moment atop the podium at the Milano Cortina Olympics, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) dedicated a golden Bridger Gondola cabin to the skier at a ceremony on Saturday morning. Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer stopped by to see the festivities.

Born in Jackson, Johnson grew up skiing at JHMR. She was joined by JHMR staff as she used the ceremonial giant scissors for the ribbon-cutting event.
Fellow Jackson Hole Olympian Anna Gibson was also in the mix. Following the ceremony, Johnson and Gibson signed posters and skied down the hill together.

Ceremony attendees received commemorative gold medals. Many waved tiny American flags.

Later that day, Johnson was honored on stage at the Rendezvous Music Festival.
