ALTA, Wyo. — Come meet Jaelin Kauf and send her off to Italy at the Trap!

From Grand Targhee to Italy…

Jaelin Kauf learned to ski at Grand Targhee Resort and is proud to call Targhee her home mountain. Coming off of a historic season winning all three World Cup Crystal Globes and becoming the World Champion, Jaelin earned herself a spot on the 2026 Olympic Team.

Jaelin is excited for the opportunity to compete in Dual Moguls in its Olympic debut this coming February in Italy. Dual moguls includes two skiers, competing side-by-side and the winner moves on through single elimination. Heading into her third Olympics, Jaelin is carrying the confidence after earning a Silver Medal at the 2022 Olympics.

“This community has meant so much to me and given me so much love and support throughout my career. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this last season and kickstart this Olympic year, than right at home!” Kauf says.

On Sunday, September 14, (the last day the resort is open for summer) from 2 to 5 p.m., Grand Targhee will be hosting Jaelin at the Trap Bar. Derrick and the Dynamos will be playing outside on the deck, weather permitting. All ages are welcome to join the party outside the Trap for an evening of music, games, autographs and more!

Mark those calendars!
