JACKSON, Wyo. — This is your moment. This is your time to dirty up those Kinkos and Carhartts, and make dreams come true – to build housing for deserving families in Teton County. Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area (Teton Habitat) invites all the wonderful members of our community to come out to the Jimmy Carter Volunteer Day on April 26!

Teton Habitat joins Habitat affiliates around the world in mourning the loss of President Jimmy Carter. He and his wife Rosalynn Carter contributed to Habitat for Humanity for over 35 years building affordable housing worldwide. In his honor, Teton Habitat is organizing a Jimmy Carter Volunteer Day on April 26. Volunteers do not need construction experience, and the Teton Habitat construction team will provide the necessary training and organizing so that all you need to bring is a great attitude and more friends.

It takes a community to build affordable housing in Teton County. Volunteers are critical to keeping construction costs low, and making a Habitat house truly affordable. Whether you are a builder or have never used a hammer, you can make a difference in your community.? And if you catch the building bug, Teton Habitat invites volunteers to come out each Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Shifts are 8:45am to 4:00pm with a lunch break, and you can volunteer once, weekly, or monthly.

Join in the celebration on April 26, or make a gift to contribute to Teton Habitat’s work and mission! Your support builds homes and strengthens our community.

Let’s build on the legacy. Learn more and get signed up at tetonhabitat.org.
