JACKSON, Wyo. — Nonprofit Jackson Hole Writers will host “A Likely Story” on Saturday at the Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church to encourage creativity and to celebrate young authors.

All ages are invited to this free event, which will offer hands-on activities in language, art and music. Available activities will include:

  • Making postcards with collages and messages
  • Contributing to a community-built sculpture
  • Celebrating writers and craftspeople
  • Listening to a live piano performance

The nonprofit handles the Teton County submissions to the statewide Young Authors writing competition, so part of Saturday’s celebration will highlight the local students who participated.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, located at 750 Seneca Ln.
