JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson’s downtown streets will welcome 14 temporary murals for the annual WildWalls event, which runs from June through September.

The wheatpaste mural artists are: Bailey Collins, Leann Dzemske, Nicole Gaitan, Patricia Griffin, Ed Lavino, Molly Martin, Miranda Raposa, Miga Rossetti, Lyndsay Rowan, Helen Seay, Alyssa Shaw, Kathryn Turner, Anika Youcha and students from Jackson Hole High School.

Blank alley walls will be transformed into an open-air gallery from June through September, in a highly visual, interactive and educational event without the confines of a traditional venue. The murals will be accessible to thousands of people daily.

WildWalls 2023 will again combine some murals with augmented reality (AR) features to promote a greater understanding and awareness of the region’s ecosystem through contemporary scientific research. WildWalls AR features will be hosted on the Hoverlay app, available for free on all smartphones.

JHPA is working with the selected artists and collaborating organizations to generate educational content that brings murals alive. This year’s AR animations will be created by Kika Macfarlane and Tala Schlossberg of Two Toes Creative.
