HOBACK, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has scheduled a closure of U.S. 191/189 through Hoback Canyon for Wednesday, March 26, at 2 p.m. for avalanche mitigation.

Additional closures might be necessary depending on weather conditions.

According to a WYDOT press release, reduced visibility, winter driving conditions and increasing avalanche hazard might force an earlier closure.

Drivers can dial 511 or go to www.wyoroad.info for updated weather and road conditions.
